San Antonio Hindu Temple

The nearest Hindu Temple for us at San Antonio . It is situated at a hill top and that gives it a good view. The main idols are Shri Ganesh , Venkitachalapathi, and Sri Lalitha. Outside you have separate mandirs for 'Hanuman', 'Ardha Naarishwaran', 'Navagrahas' etc. The idol above is of 'Garuda' , the companion and carrier of 'Maha Vishnu'.

Mc Nay Art Museum

We visited Mc Nay Art Museum on its re-opening day.
It was established by the will of Marion Koogler McNay during 1950. Has a very good collection of European and American paintings and sculptures of significant artists from the respective fields.
